Welcome to the Pirate's Refuge, a recent and spacious (180 m²) independent Caribbean villa, nestled in a green setting and well ventilated.
Its private pool, wooded garden and large covered terrace invite relaxation and leisure in an authentically Creole atmosphere.
Designed to offer both conviviality and privacy, the villa has 4 independent bedrooms, each equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom.
Two of them open directly onto the terrace with breathtaking views of the bay of Deshaies and the island of Montserrat, a real highlight upon waking up.

The large covered terrace accommodates the living room and dining room, making this space a true living area, ideal for fully enjoying the tropical climate in any season.
The infinity pool (4×8m), exclusively reserved for tenants, has a jacuzzi function for moments of relaxation facing the sea. It is secured by an alarm, and complemented by: 6 sun loungers, an outdoor shower and a carbet converted into a lounge area.
Automatic lighting allows you to enjoy the outdoors after nightfall.
For stays of 3 to 6 people, all 3 bedrooms of the villa are available. The 4th bedroom near the pool is open for stays of 7 or 8 people.

The village of Deshaies, known for being the annual filming location of the British series Death in Paradise, is a haven of beauty thanks to its mountainous terrain and golden sandy beaches, untouched by sargassum seaweed. The famous Grande Anse beach is 1.5 km away and Rifflet La Perle beach is 4 km from the villa.
The Deshaies Botanical Garden, the most visited place in Guadeloupe, is only 500m away. Numerous hiking trails are located within a 40 km radius. The Soufrière volcano is 65 km away.
Diving clubs in Deshaies, whale and dolphin migration watching in season.
Practical:
Bakery, mini-market, pharmacy, and doctor are 1 km away in the village of Deshaies. A small market is held in Sainte Rose every morning. A list of delicious local restaurants and helpful tips will be provided upon your arrival at Villa Le Refuge du Pirate.
Car rental is available through a partner at the airport, or free airport transfers are offered for any car rental of at least 7 days. Taxi bookings are also possible.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de 14 jours dans la globalité . Logement idéalement situé , commerces à proximité . Notre hôte est toujours disponible et très discret. Nous avons maintenu nos vacances malgré les restrictions liées à la crise sanitaire et nous ne le regrettions pas . Nous vous recommandons cette location
Un séjour de rêve
La maison est parfaite et très bien située. Elle est mieux que sur les photos qui ne rendent pas la vraie proximité de la mer. Je dirais 200 mètres à vol d’oiseau. A notre arrivée , l’état de propreté était impeccable et nous à même surpris par rapport à d’autres locations que nous avons faites. Il est vrai que la route principale n’est pas loin, mais on s’est vite habitué et le panorama fait oublier le bruit qui au contraire d’être génant rappelle à la civilisation environnante. Citadin allergique au bruit de voiture et en quête de parfaite quiétude , s’abstenir. Il faut une voiture pour se rendre aux plages les plus proches, mais c’est rapide et en fait l’ile n’est pas si grande qu’il y parait, de sorte que DEshaie est la situation idéale. Il faut aller à la boulangerie de Deshaie et y faire la queue pour obtenir le meilleur pain de l’ile ( niveau métropole+ et ce n’est pas rien). Coté restau , nous avons découvert ( malheureusement le dernier jour) le restau les terrasses des amandiers sur la plage des amandiers,qui donne juste envie d’y retourner chaque jour tellement c’était bon. Nous etions 6 dans la maison, 2 adulte et 4 grands ados et tout était parfait. Mention spéciale de ma fille pour la vue de la chambre du rez de chaussée. Merci aux propriétaires pour un séjour inoubliable.
